Grounding means being rooted in reality. It is the connection with our physical body, being capable of perceiving outside information through the five senses and translate it through intimate perception of inner movements, including physical sensations, emotions, intuition… That vital connection enables us to manifest our true selves in a healthy and proactive way, in coherence with the world we live in.

Great wishes and imagination are powerless when confined in tense or weak bodies, where the vital energy flow is stuck or diminished… Unfortunately this is the default condition in the world right now. A big part of that happens because of repressed emotions (often from childhood experiences) which become tension, numbness and/or rigidity in our bodies. On a psychological level, these contents run unconscious programs that limit and distort our capacity to relate, our sense of self-worth, our creativity, our physical health, our capacity for love and pleasure and our spiritual connection. That explains why so many times we go through amazing spiritual experiences and are not capable of integrating them and manifesting those insights in our lives.

Through Bioenergetics exercises, breathwork and guided inquiry we will explore our own sense of grounding, recognizing limitations, addressing feelings and navigating through all of that in order to release the flow of energy in our bodies and strengthen our connection to the earth. This will be a theoretical-practical workshop of 2 hours, where the participants learn about the concept of grounding according to Bioenergetics, practice the exercises and share with each other in a guided-inquiry format. People who attend will also learn tools to practice in their daily lives to keep their grounding healthy and vital.

It is advisable to be in loose clothing, so you can move. Also good to have privacy and the capacity to open the camera.
