Mexican, PhD candidate in Agroecology. I have been passionate about my professional journey since the first day of classes at the University, 24 years ago, when my soils professor took us to have class in a field. There was no greater pleasure than tilling the soil, weeding, making furrows, and planting that day.
Since then, in a constant process of personal learning, I have worked in various contexts (academic, community organizations, and government institutions), facilitating community transformation processes and learning spaces based on personal development, as well as respect for cycles, life rhythms, and ancestral knowledge transmitted between generations, achieving the implementation of socio-environmental innovation actions that have contributed to building and weaving more sustainable territories through the active participation of conscious citizens.
In the permaculture course, we will seek to integrate into your personal process the theoretical, conceptual, methodological, and technical foundations and principles that influence the art of designing resilient, harmonious, and meaningful living spaces inspired by nature.
