All ancient civilizations sought to enable men and women to embark on a path of self-knowledge and spiritual evolution. These processes of individuation or initiation aimed to forge in us the presence and consciousness that we are divinity incarnated in biology. The evolutionary path seeks coherence between who we are in essence, what we think, feel, and do. To achieve this, we must create a direction to release the emotional demands we had from our parents.
