EXERCISES:

  1. Visualization of the Inner Child: Close your eyes and turn your attention inward. Imagine yourself in a quiet and safe place. Visualize your inner child, that innocent and authentic being you once were. Observe how you look, how you feel, and what desires you have. Listen to the words of that inner child. Ask them about their dreams and aspirations. Listen carefully and feel connected to them. This practice can help you discover forgotten desires and dreams that still resonate within you.
  2. Dialogue with Your Inner Child: Find a quiet moment and sit in a comfortable place. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Imagine your inner child sitting in front of you. Start a dialogue with them. Ask them about their dreams, what they used to love doing, and what they wished to be when they grew up. Listen to their responses with attention and love. As you converse, feel the connection and the energy of your childhood memories. Thank your inner child for sharing with you.
  3. Letter to Your Inner Child: Sit down with paper and pen. Write a letter from your adult self to your inner child. Express love, understanding, and support. Share your childhood memories and gratitude for the happy moments. Encourage them to keep dreaming and exploring. Then, switch roles and respond as your inner child, expressing their thoughts and emotions. This practice can help you strengthen the bond with your inner child and promote healing.
