Hate is also a note in the song of love and can be useful when channeled correctly. To be a skilled “musician” of love, it’s necessary to tune our chakras and align the energy within them. All existing emotions are useful and stem from love. Falling in love is an instance of resonance where all emotions unify. However, love changes and transforms constantly. We should not cling to any form of love but accept them as they are. Attachment and expectations prevent us from loving unconditionally. We must learn to love ourselves and free ourselves from attachment to allow our love to flow freely. Ultimately, we discover that we are love and that we carry that love within us.

EXERCISES:
Unconditional love meditation: Sit in a quiet place and close your eyes. Breathe deeply and visualize a flow of loving energy that permeates you and connects you with everything. Imagine that this unconditional love flows from your heart to the world and back to yourself. Maintain this visualization for a few minutes, breathing slowly and consciously.
Attachment release meditation: Sit in silence and focus on your breath. Then, bring to mind a relationship or situation where you feel attached. Observe the feelings and thoughts that arise without judging them. Then, silently repeat the affirmation: “I release all attachment and allow love to flow freely.” Visualize yourself letting go of any expectations or need to control the situation, and allow unconditional love to fill you completely.
